Dr. Goh Keng Swee, the then Minister for Defence of Singapore, was the first one to conceive the idea of what is now known as Jurong Bird Park. After a series of efforts and plannings, Jurong Bird Show was finally inaugurated on 3rd January 1971. Owning to the fact that Jurong Bird Show houses more than 600 bird species, it is considered as the world's largest bird park. Have the pleasure of watching birds like Flamingos, Hornbills, Cocktails, Hawks, Macaws and Parrots under the guidance of well-trained guides at Jurong Bird Show.
Location: Jurong Bird Park is located at 2 Jurong Hill Singapore-628925. Resting peacefully within the Boon Lay Planning Area of the Jurong District, Jurong Bird Park is one of the main Singapore Tourist Attractions.
Timings: Jurong Bird Park is open for public daily from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm.
Entry Ticket: The entry ticket for an adult costs SGD 14, whereas, it costs only SGD 7 for children between 3 to 12 years.

Penguin Chitchat: (Timing: 10.30 am, Venue: Penguin Parade) Housing more than 200 penguins, Penguin Parade allows you to watch 5 species of Penguins, namely Macaroni, Fairy, King Penguin, Humboldt and Rockhopper.
All Star Birdshow: (Timings: 11.00 am and 3.00 pm, Venue: Pools Amphitheatre) Showcasing a large number of performing birds in a single act, All Star Birdshow is one of the hit birdshows of Jurong Bird Park. Flamingos, Hornbills and Pelicans are the star attractions of this Birdshow.
Birds of Prey Show: (Timings: 10.00 am and 4.00 pm, Venue: Fuji Hawk Walk) As the name suggests, this show offers you to watch the bird of prey like eagles, vultures, hawks and falcons. All those frightening birds can be seen here without any risk.
Bee-Eater & Starling Chitchat: (Timings: 10.30 am and 2.30 pm, Venue: Waterfall Aviary) Performed at the Waterfall Aviary, Bee-Eater & Starling Chitchat show is a major hit among tourists visiting Jurong Bird Park. Having the world's only monorail running on an aviary, waterfall aviary offers you to see about 1,500 free-flying birds.
Pelican Chitchat: (Timing: 2.00 pm, Venue: Pelican Cove) The specialty of Pelican Chitchat is that it takes place at the world's first underwater viewing gallery. Have fun watching some of the endangered species of pelicans at Pelican Chitchat Birdshow.
